Get to Know: bI5cut

Posted on 03 June 2013 by Arthur Kozlovski

Warmer days bring phat tracks to the courts where kids in dunks dominate games of double-dutch, blasting bass-heavy beats from their portable radios. Producer b15cut crafts these bombastic snippets, which he appropriately labels “footwork” and “juke.” The minute-long pieces are loaded with bumping bass and urban percussion, which is more than enough to get us soaking wet 30 seconds in.  The hopscotch days are in full swing in these mean cities, and the youngins are shuffling in bright hi-tops with ice pops in hand – that’s how we do it on the scorching streets.
